Hello all , i got 3d studio Max along with Vray plugin installed in my pc , the GPU i use is an Asus HD 7990 with 14.9.1 catalyst Even though V-ray plugin detects opencl hardware (In fact it detects 1 cpu capable of opencl and 2 GPU's ) i cant get the damn thing to render through GPU via 3d studio max when i select hardware rendering instead of v-ray , it starts rendering through GPU but crashes after seconds Anyone got prior experience with AMD GPU and V-ray or 3d studio max ? any help would be appreciated , thanks !
I had no problem with 2x 7970 on 3Dmax, but for V-ray ( chaos ), huum i dont think i was use this one. This said, i have not try the Cat 14.1 with it. This said, if im right you need to disable CFX for work on render ..
