In case you dind't notice it just yet, Ubisoft has released the latest PC update for Far Cry 4 that supposedly addresses the game's stuttering issues, as well as a number of graphical issues....

You must have less stutters now, like me?

Keesberenburg, you have stutter issues? I would understand if you were running sli, but it's weird since I'm not having any issues with my 970.

It does stutter very rarely for a few seconds (probably when it's loading stuff), but apart from that I have no problems.
Aside from the fact that FC4 does not seem to be hyperthreading-aware. Out of curiosity, does your cpu ever cross the 50% load mark?

not had any stuttering at all under any of the patches inc the initial release, GTX 770 4GB, game runs well smooth - mind you I didn't use the Nvidia preset that has now been removed with this patch

    Hairworks still not included.

On my 970, patch 1.5 reduced the stuttering significantly, it's still there from time to time, but it's far less noticeable, and happens a lot less often.
Unfortunately PCSS is still bugged (especially in northern kyrat), but disabling it does not seem to reduce shadow quality much.

The Nvidia preset was removed but the Nvidia specific settings (God rays, TXAA, HBAO+, PCSS) are still present.

When active animal hair my framerate drops drastically, I think that I will not be able to play this game on PC conditions, more and more disgusted with pc games.

Strangely enough I dont have the "simulated" option. But I think I may have messed up my GamerProfile.xml. Gonna delete it and let the game recreate the file. See what's what.

Update: Yep, I was messing around in the GamerProfile.xml before the patch and also had it set to read only. Problem fixed, fur is all furry now. Thanks Keesberenburg.

Can anyone confirm if they removed Enhanced godrays for AMD users?

I can still set it to enhanced, but it doesn't enable it at all, looks the same as with having it Off.

It wasn't removed, just the intensity was reduced, and you cant see the godrays if you are really close to the source blocking the sunlight (aka you are right under that tree :p). Should the tree be at the top of a hill and you at the bottom, the godrays are displayed as before.
However, I dont know if the enhanced godrays show at all on AMD cards, might be an nvidia only setting.
