Hi all, right I have 2 7850's on a P8Z77-M pro motherboard my problem is they wont run @8x8....

for some reason its only 8x1, but if I change the second card to the pci-e slot 3 i get 16x4, why wont it run in 8x8?

Iv checked and updated the bios, reinstalled the drivers etc, even in the bios it says its running @8x8, but in gpu-z it says x1 for the second card and Iv tested it and it runs like c***, changed to 16x4 and you can tell the diffrence :bang:

    Any ideas??

    Thanks for any help...

ignore what GPU-Z says unless you can check it with the system under load.

You can tell GPUz to start a render test to see the lane speeds change

    My board needs slots 1 and 3 for x16 x16, if I use 1 and 2, it runs at x16 x8

    Cheers for the help!

just checked that test and its still x8 2.0 and x1 2.0, its weird coz if i turn off crossfire and restart they both show x8, then as soon as i enable it it switches the second card to x1 then wont go back till after a restart even if i disable crossfire, really wierd...
