I have the Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD for Gaming & the ASUS STX for Music.. both improve with Mods...

Is the new Creative Labs SoundBlaster ZXR the best of both worlds?

Or am I better off with what I have?

The only reason to get the STX if you wanted it features or its headphone amp. But then if you need a headphone amp, it would be better getting a external amp and adding it to your existing sound card. Both Your card and the STX are good cards, but in your case it wouldn't be worth it.

Also they added ASIO support to the Creative Z,ZX and ZXR cards some driver updates back thru a driver update. So it does have Asio support.
