I want to be able to run Maya on my laptop so I can do some work away from home or school. The problem is that when I change the view, it locks up (that's enough to have me not try anything else). I read somewhere that my card does support OpenGL & although it only has 8MB (4 shared) of video memory, I was able to get Maya running on another laptop with a 4MB Intel graphics card (tested by opening a scene with about 100,000 faces). I changed views, rotated around, & did some mods & it worked fine. Other than that, my laptop's got a PIII 650MHz & 256MB RAM. Is there some software application that I can use to tweak my card to work? I kind of narrowed it down to a problem with OpenGL 'cause if I use other 3D applications that let you chose between DirectX & OpenGL, they'd crash on OpenGL.
