    I'd like to try and overclock my NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 video card that I have as I am starting to play more and more games and am unable to play some of the newer games I'd like to play, I'm not expecting this to work like magic but, I would like to see an overall improvement with my games once I know how to overclock my video card.

    I've downloaded the MSI Overclocker and I'd like to know what settings I should have Core clock, Shader clock and Memory click on, and whether or not I should leave Fan speed on Auto.

    System specifications if it helps;

    Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo CPU E8400 (3.00GHz)
    Memory: 3070 MB
    Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 (on GT215 GPU) (Total memory: 2258 MB)
    Operating System: Windows 7™ Ultimate 32-bit (Service Pack 1)
    Motherboard: Asus IPIBL-LB (Benicia)
    DirectX: 11 (Video Card supports up to 10.1)
    On-board memory: 1024MB

    I had oced a 240 before and It was the ddr3 version. I believe I got 670mhz And 2060mhz for memory. Gddr5 should hit 3800

    I have DDR3, but the Memory clock slider doesn't even go up to 2060mhz, and what do I put for Shader clock?

    For overclocking, its exactly half.. DDR =s double data rate so for ocing it was on 1030 which x2 =s 2060. and link shader to core. it should be double core clock
