Angry Radeon HD 4200 Catalyst Control Center Problem - 12-13-2010, 03:14 | posts: 1

Ive had a Toshiba Laptop for about half a year know, and for the past few weeks ive been getting this error:

"Catalyst Control Center has stopped working"

and i never paid it much attention. until last night when i wanted to connect my extra monitor so i could have duel monitors. and well the error pops up...

i tried to upadte my driver and then uninstall and reinstalling it but i got some error saying something about the software, drivers not being compatible...

then i went into the Windows Update thingy and updated a bunch of stuff. some of them didnt install so i looked at what they were and it was some crap about microsoft word...

so please help me. i dont understand why the control center doesnt work. i want to open it so i can use duel monitors/change the resolution.

p.s. its really laggy playing games, not sure but i think it has something to do with the control center not working =[

~~Thanks
