Most guys on this forum upgrade every 2 yrs or less. I bought a 770 2gb to tide me over til the 880,then I will probably get a 880 with 3-4 gb ram and not buy another one for a few years. I was running a 560 ti til about 2 weeks ago. I'm not the type that needs every single bell and whistle on. Every game I play with the 770 is maxed out at 60 fps tho.

Couldn't be happier with my MSI 770 2gb card. just got it a few months ago and besides WDs I can max everything out and things run butter smooth. Came from dual 6870's and the difference is night and day. "Green" team for the win!

Recently took the leap for a $300+ gpu and loving my nVidia 770 with the Titan cooler for my EVGA Hadron case which just about requires a rear exhaust gpu.

OK: So I'm late to the party. :coffee:

Now that I have one, I've got this urge to overclock it, but my google-fu is weak: What do I need to know? As in "will burn out too quickly at MHz X or Temp Y," or "Prioritize Temp is mandatory."

MSI AB. Max out power limit and dont go over 88c~

Find fastest core clock, then find memory last.

you can post here you problem.

I wonder how 770 users feels after the kepler downgrade, the 280x walking over 680 770 with ease.

PNY GTX 770 running 3 monitors and shows weird angled lines and triangles

I just got a computer that has a fast Xeon processor, SSD, and a 4GB PNY GTX 770 OC card. I get these weird angled lines and/or triangles that pop up on my screens. I happens on each of them at different times. Seems to happen inside a window - browser, Outlook, Winamp, etc. Has anyone had this issue? I have updated to the latest drivers that I know of. I turned off the built-in video on the MB also. The issue comes and goes. Just very annoying. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

seems like u got defective card, before RMA it try following:

    1) what is your PSU? brand and model.
2)make sure PCI Express is connect to both 8 and 6 pins on the GPU.
3)run a heavy game or 3DMARK at least for the first minute, and see if there is artifacts.
4)via MSI Afterburner, you can lower clocks or GPU Core and MHZ, try that as well as upping fan to maximum atm to prevent any temp damage.

    1) I think it is NZXT that came with the case. Maybe a Hale but definitely a 850W.
    2) Don't know about the pins. The card was in slot PCIE2 and I just moved it to PCIE1. It has 2 plugs going into the side of the card from the MB.
    3) I ran the Fire Strike Extreme in 3DMark and scored 3253. Not sure if that is good or not. There were no funky lines or triangles during the test. It seemed to run fine, maybe slow at a point or two.
    4) I am not sure what to do with the MSI Afterburner exactly...

    Thank you!

Did you solve your issue yet?
Try uninstalling Classic Shell. Sorry for the late reply.

    Hello,
It has still been acting up ever so often. I just followed your advice and uninstalled Classic Shell. It isn't acting up now. I will check back if it acts up again.

I really like having the start button. Any suggestions on one that won't jack up the video?

    Thanks!

have u downclocked the card? checked another PSU? although i believe it's the card, try 347.25 drivers or 335.84 and see whats' going on.
