Hi I am about to order another 1080 , I am lead to believe that the sli bridge that came with my mobo is no good anymore. (something i was reading back when the 1080 came out , i may be mistaken?) Ive had a look and the prices vary immensly. Put simply I am utterly lost Can someone point me in the direction to a resonably priced SLI bridge for the 1080 . Oh and im going across 3 slots (one empty in the middle) so is that a "long" bridge? Thank you
Yes i see what your saying Im not penny pinching its just either use the two flex bridges i already own or shell out £41 for an Nvidia HB bridge. I looked around google and youtube has a few users trying HB bridges vs flex bridges and seeing very little to no differance , they were all using the EVGA HB bridge however. I found the video below of someone trying the Nvidia HB bridge and getting result that seem to me at least to make the £41 worth it , most games have better scaling and higher fps with the Nvidia bridge https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWcsaociTjE
