how does one make this beast run well.thanks for the tips! ps is the only game that runs like windowsME on my system.
most everything on low at the moment,, there is a few launch options you can use ... check steam forums, click the game in steam list and then click discussions on the right side, check there for tweaks
Put everything on low, render distance can be set to low or medium though its hard to see a difference between the 2. In addition to all this stuff you can add some launch options in steam. malloc=system +mat_antialias 0 window -USEAL****ILABLECORES -sm4 -lowmemor lowmemor seems to be usefull on systems with 8GB of ram or less but i get the feeling you get some texture poppin on th edge when turning fast.
