No mention of the make of ram employed in the MSI 1060 Gaming X plus card. Assume its Samsung? Do you guys have part numbers? Curious.

    Thanks

    Oops, i read 1080.

Anyways micron doesn't have 9GBPS memory so likely the same samsung chips as before.
All the 8GBPS chips could hit 9 pretty easily

    Why I'm asking

Reason I ask is because I'm curious if the video rom from the X plus could be flashed onto the Gaming 1060 X card? They're almost identical short of the ram and if I knew the make and model numbers of the ram on the X+ for comparison it would indicated wether or not they just overclocked the ram and reduced latencies or something. So if the reviewer of the 1060 x plus could share the video rom it would be appreciated ,

    Thank you

Found out exact model number of ram used

Did some research and found out that the X+ used the Samsung K4G80325FB-HC22 where as the standard Gaming X card used the K4G80325FB-HC25.

Whats the difference not sure yet..

    Thanks
