Crysis starts at 24hz in 1080p mode with these, gives me a nice blank screen.

Its fine with the 10.2's.

Apart from that its a nice set.

I can confirm that there are no issues at all (at least with my setup) on a HD4850 Card
No stability issues, quality nor performance.
They work perfectly

Anything I normally tried in the past to fix the 24hz issue has not worked either. When I (Alt + Enter), instead of it switching in 60hz, it just automatically shuts down the game and brings me to the desktop.

The switching to non-native res and enabling GPU scaling and then switching back to your regular resolution doesn't work either. Hopefully, the 10.3 WHQL fixes this.

One thing to really note is that Crysis Warhead got a huge jump in performance for single-GPU only with my 5870. In CF, there is problems in performance and severe microstuttering.

Here is my results with a single 5870 @ 950/1250 with the 10.3 Preview drivers @ 4.1Ghz OC on the i7:

UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Just installed fresh Windows (7 Ultimate) because I bought a new MB. Installed this set fresh and for some reason kept getting "Display Driver stopped responding and has recovered" after playing Modern Warfare 2 for a couple of minutes. Uninstalled, loaded up 10.2 and no issues. However before I ran Vantage and got 19376 with my single 5870, which was about 1000 higher than I get with 10.2 (OC 1003/1300). I haven't even run it at my max (on air) of 1030/1320. Can't wait for the full release.

No microstuttering issue here at all with my rig so far. It might be because your running trifire which increases your chances for microstutter.

Any oc that is not done in bios is not recorded/displayed properly. All tests that I'm aware of will do this.

His oc was probably done with eleet software tool.

Only with Crysis Warhead. Obviously, something they did to SERIOUSLY improve the performance is interfering with CF for this game. Also, I sold one of my 5870s so I am running 2 x 5870s now. Three of them was just overkill.

On other games, CF works great. Actually, it works better than great

@ memorian

Crysis Warhead benchmark tool doesn't take into account the 21x mutliplier that is on all of cores/threads (8). It takes it as 196x20, but it is really 196x21.

You'll need to try them your self
As far as the feedback goes (including my own, feedback) these are great BUT, it varies setup per setup.

I think you must have XFIREX on because here's my results below with no AA and yes my system is fine. Care to run the crysis benchmark tool @ 1680x1050 very high?

I had this reoccur also, I fixed it by going under the HDTV settings and just tagging 'Add 720p60' and 'Add 1080p60' and removing others that I had tagged, one of which was 'Add 1080p24'

I assume your running these with an HDTV, or maybe an HDMI interface.

These are one of if not the only driver I've had pretty big problems with on my 4850.

Occasional flashing black screen, unresponsive control panel at times, and a general flaky-ness about them. Didn't like them, back to 10.2

I've been playing Bioshock 2 and MW2 fine but in Crysis Warhead I'm seeing objects (plants and sh-t) appear as I move forward. And not from far away but from just a few feet (in game, of course) away.

I tried that and it didn't work but thanks for suggesting. When I've had this in the past I just enabled GPU Scaling in GPU properties and that sorted it. Nothing at all seems to work for this set.

The went back to the 10.2's again to check and it worked straight away.

Weird. Maybe you are high, drunk or something
