6700K + Forza6 1core hits 80c while playing ok/not ok??

    6700K + Forza6 1core hits 80c while playing not good rite? Core3-4 hits 76-83c i am on water-cooled custom

    yep that's too hot for custom wc with a mainstream cpu, I assume its oced to 4.6ghz, how much vcore are you giving it?

    From what i heard Forza is using 2 threads, so it can push temps higher on 1-2 cores. It would be helpful to tell us your voltage and clocks you using...

    Yeah that's not right, maybe cpu needs better contact? Or not enough paste?


    I just tested temp scenario and max I saw was 1-2 sec spike to 64C on hottest core0 otherwise its ~50C; H90 at P/P low fan speeds..

    This is at 4.7Ghz @ 1.284V and cache 4.2Ghz @ 1.15V.

    Yeah chief that is way to hott, I am getting usually no more then 50c-60c max during gameplay but I have push/pull 80% fan manual Corsair H-80i -Most of the time I am in the mid 50s 4.6 Ghz @ 1.30 V.

    This is could happened if your CPU Voltage is set to (auto). Try to manage your CPU Voltage manually
