Rivatuner Startup Questions 8400GS OC

I overclocked my 8400Gs and I get an error or message about updating to the latest version but I heard this is nothing to worry about. and also
Do I need the services to start up?
When they start up I always get asked for administrator privileges which annoys me. The Start up and one other (Rivatuner) Daemon services or programs start up are they necessary if you overclocked your card?
