I`v looked and can`t find a solution to this, and its probably gonna be an easy one, but here goes.

I`ve just bought an inno3d 9800gtx+ OC (factory set 800mhz/2300mhz) and i`m trying to figure out how to st up the gpu fan to go to a certain speed (%) when the gpu temp is at a certain degreeC , kind of like the cpu temp adjust in some bios`s.

I know i can set the the fan speed manualy, but then it just stays at that speed.

    Any ideas????

again apologies if its plain and simple!!

had a look at that, wasn`t sure if it would work with Inno3d, will give it a shot though :)

just tried it....no joy, again it will let me set the fan speed, but not let me have it so the fan adjusts itself when the gpu reaches a selected temp :(

yeah tried that, same thing again...although some of rivatuner went way over my head, but none of the bits about fan control...

You can set the fan to auto and if you load your gpu the fan will increase automatic but you can have it underclock your gpu at a certain temp.

basically, the temps are not too bad, idle i`m around 50 which is fine but after playing a game for a good while, i`ll come back, gpu fan goes back down as not under load which is fine, but my temp stays up to about 65 which i know isn`t bad for this card, but because of the heat of the card and gpu, its making my ambient temps higher, thus running my cpu etc higher. I have average ventelation ie, fans around my case and could easily upgrade these, but was just seeing if i could get the gpu fan to stay at 100% until gpu temp reaches 55 or below, as when i do this manually, it seems to reduce all other component temps.

Ok I was wrong. after reading this post http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=278696

follow this link http://www.vaguetech.com/index.php?pageid=rt207 I read it and you can set it so if gpu reaches 70 oC to change clocks to 700c/1500s/1100m if you wanted to along with set fan speeds 60% at start-up and 75% at 55 oC and 100% at 65 oC

At idle my card is around 44 oC and full load somewhere around 60 oC and thats with fan speed 60-75% at default clock speeds for my card being 760c/1880s/1150m
