As far as I can see Facebook haven't done any damage to Oculus, I've yet to see any facebook adds popup on my rift
Because the Consumer Version is not out yet, they're not gonna cripple a dev kit with ads and privacy invasion and social media crap - but almost guaranteed the CV will be
You're just speculating you have no idea what the consumer version of the rift will be like, I'm not saying I was happy about the Facebook buyout but it doesn't stop me from enjoying the rift, and as long as Futuremark carry on making great benchmarks I'll be just as happy running their software, it's easy to be negative about this stuff but life's too short
