my cpu is AMD FX-8350 black edition. I recently overclocked my hd radeon 7970 gpu to 1070mhz core clock, and 1575mhz memory. I also wanted to overclock my CPU, but I have no idea how to do it and the guides that I do find just confuse me. Thanks for any help.

Complete your specs profile so people know what you're wanting to OC with ;)

I've got the same chip running at 4.8GHz so could give you some settings but depends on the rest of your setup

Don't think I would OC that CPU with that PSU, chances are with the GPU OCd it's already pretty close to it's limit

Yupp I 2nd that also. I am worried about that 550 watt psu, that is pushing the boundries already I think? Get something in the 750-850 watt range and then consider overclocking, I have a Corsair Hx 850 (watts) If you attempt as is you might very-well burn out your system then hate us for the rest of your life, haha.
