7 Series with Catalyst 15.7 chipset

So anyone here with 7 series board(like MSI790GX) tried the new Catalyst chipset drivers:

i'm also interested in this. it took me a LOT of hours to track down decent working drivers. if we have a willing test subject for these i'd love to hear the results. that being said... if not then I guess i'll try later next week :/

 

Took me four tries to get them right with an HIS 7850. Once I used DDU 15.3.10, I was able to get Catalyst Control Center installed. Seems to have been the bad guy during the install. Also...be careful...if you so a selective install, most likely CCC will fail as well.

 

just a quick update to say I updated these drivers myself and after a few quick reboots i'm happy to report no issues! running a Gigabyte GA-790FXTA-UD5 mobo

edit: I did not do a clean wipe of the chipset drivers first. just something to keep in mind.

SB710 here, works fine. No cpu usage as with earlier versions.
