I'm not sure if my drive is working correctly as the bios don't see it as a connected device also doesn't show up under secure erase in my bios. But Windows 10 is install and running off it with out any problems. Anyone know is there anything I need to change in the bios to get it to show up?
the secure erase only works with Sata SSD in the bios, As long as you can boot from it, and have installed the NVME driver from Samsung for the drive, you shouldn't worry about it, From my experience with my motherboard when I hooked up a M.2 drive it doesn't show anything in the bios related to it, but everything works fine.
The NVMe Samsung SSD 950 Pro will not show in the ASRock Z97 Extreme6 Eufi/Bios until a bios update after bios 2.50 (the SSD is viewable in the ASRock system browser and still accessible/boot-able).
