Hi, just after some advice here,

Currently have my win7 os on a 128gb Toshiba ssd, and games, docs, pics, etc on my 500gb hdd. I have just got a 480gb SanDisk ssd. What is my best option here; continue using the 128 ssd as os drive and the new SanDisk for everything else and remove my hdd altogether?

Or should I be using the SanDisk for the os as and games etc, as it is the better drive, with the Toshiba as overflow?

Will appreciate your opinions on this, cheers.

Use your sandisk ssd for os/games, sell the toshiba.

    That's what I'll do.

I was thinking that, but would like the extra bit of space. Ok thanks.

Also, I'm thinking now maybe the perfect time to install Windows 10 (from win7), regarding this, do I need to install Windows 7 into the new ssd then go through the upgrade to win 10, or is there a way to fresh install win 10?

If you're able to maintain your OS install with the 128GB SSD, which is possibile depending on what you install, leave it on there. Install regular applications on it as normal. Install games on the 480GB SSD, and put other larger media on the HDD, like videos, etc.

Cheers for the replies. I have decided to keep the 128gb drive for os (will be win 10), have the new ssd for games and my hdd for photos and media, with them being backed up on an external hdd.

Now just to move my steam games, etc to the new ssd from the hdd!
