**MOD EDIT** BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. THEIR FEEDBACK IS TERRIBLE. Anyone any experience of ordering from these? Seen a couple of hdd's I want, cheapest I've found by some distance. Online reviews of WAE mention taking your money and delayed receiving of goods (and in some cases not at all) even though when ordering their website shows they have stock. Need to know whether to steer clear. Thanks
Thanks but I'm looking for people's experience who have actually ordered from WAE. Scan ain't all that btw. I am local to them and have had problems when returning faulty goods.
Well I've bit the bullet and ordered. Paid by credit card so I'm covered if things go tits up. Thanks for all your input guys.
Have you been to their site lately? Seems it's having a 'Refresh' now does that look dodgy or what? See reviews here: http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews260382.html
Oh geez look at those reviews.. damn that's gotta be hard one. Hopefully you'll get your items and.. you won't get "mugged" this time. Hahaha lol yeah, it does look kinda dodgy lol. Uber funny. XD
mjw be gettin' mugged. ..hopefully not. XD HAHA LOL this is just sick Wait hold on mjw now you've ordered and the site is down? ..damn. XD
http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2011/nov/18/we-are-electricals-laptop-refund why on earth would anyone order from them? do you not value your money op?
Jebus! Op, I'd cancel now, maybe you will get your money back. Cheap prices often = con You created a thread about them, why didnt you wait for the responses?? Not only that but what you read mirrors what others found, which is atrocious. You werent mugged, you gave them money.
Oh dear! Darren Creswell and Ben Slater are the registered directors. They have a couple of other companies too. The website is now down for a 'refresh'!
Rofl, sick stuff man, modern day crooks. DO NOT want to know how much they've earned that way already, illegally. Maybe mjw is secretly from WAE and is here on their behalf to gather some intelligence on what we think about them, or whatever. Because let's be honest.. all the information is out there.. seems weird to just come here make a thread, wait out one or two single post then order up already? ...
Aria tried to stitch me up by refusing to give me back a motherboard that Gigabyte had replaced under warranty. Even though they had the replacement, they claimed the board wasnt under warranty and dragged their feet for weeks, yet it was brand new. I wont be using them again! Ebuyer are great for personal sales, but not if you buy a gift for someone or accept a gift that goes faulty. The person who bought it has to do the whole process of returning it, including arranging for collection, even if they have permission from the purchaser to talk about the RMA. Getting permission to talk about it takes days and doesnt make any difference, a waste of time. I just had this experience returning a gift, my friend had to do every step of the process, a royal pita. Scan have been good and Ebuyer too if not buying a gift. No experience of Novatech so cant comment on them.
Why do people ask for advice on a site, get lots of replies warning them away from it and reasons why, and then go ahead and order from it anyway ? I see it all the time and can't work it out Unless they are the owners of the site and are going to reply in a few days saying their order arrived fine
Haha lol exactly lol, my thoughts Extraordinary. I was like also like ehh... what the hell is this lol, is same dodgy as the site itself. XD
