when i start up the program, i get the following error/notification "Error starting server: Failed to listen on prefix 'h.t.t.p://*80/' because it conflicts with an existing registration on the machine." Can i get some help? i have port 80 open in the firewall.
You probably want to change it to port 82 as I think that is the one the android app looks for anyway. You probably have some other server/malware running on your machine that has bound to port 80. netstats will be able to help you find out what is using it.
