    I will update it as new mods are released. I have tested them all together but not extensively because the NMS world is so big! There is no guarantee they will perfectly for everyone all the time. Please report any issues to me and I'll try to help and contact the mod makers to let them know.

    WARNING: Please backup your save game files first (AppData/Roaming/Hello Games), remove the disablemods.txt file in PCBANKS if it exists and delete the contents of SHADERCACHE each time before loading the game with new mods. Also make sure you last saved on a space station because occasionally the mods can cause problems if you are in your ship or standing on terrain.

    Other:

    Atlas Rises Splash Screen Logo - https://nomansskymods.com/mods/atlas-rises-splash-screen-logo/

    Performance Tips:

    This is my config file for 60fps+ stutter-free Vanilla NMS at 1080p on a mid-to-high end PC (old overclocked i7, 16Gb slow DDR, 1070 GTX overclocked). Also, in Nvidia I have Prefer Maximum Performance and set Frame Rate Limiter to 90. Even with all these mods installed the game is still playable at worst. Base building limit tweaks are optional and can make base building buggy. For people struggling with low fps, try lowering Shadow Detail & Reflections and disabling Light Shafts first. TAA and Texture Detail have a greater impact on visual quality, IMO. FOV=140 in the config is equal to in-game FOV of 100 but it resets to 100 in the config if you change any settings in the game menu. If you get stuttering, enable vsync and triple buffering in the drivers. Keep vsync disabled in-game. BACKUP YOUR SAVE GAME, MAIN CACHE AND CURRENT CONFIG FILES FIRST JUST TO BE SAFE.

    Yes but in your earlier post you mentioned super crappy performance on lowest settings and that's what I wanted to check. It shouldn't take a 1080Ti to run the game normally, right? You have a decent card after all.

    Think im just running out of ram and that causes the hard freeze.....I have to kill any non game related processes before firing the game up to free up memory and then im ok.
    Got a free upgrade to 24 slot multitool from a 4 slot one so that's good.......just getting into missions and want to start the base building stuff soon too......need a bigger ship!!!!! lol

    Have you seen one of the new ships yet? I haven't been able to even see one......

    I finally met Artemis through the hologram, I wonder if that is what the player looks like? maybe we aren't human after all.

    I just kept following the signals, and then you find a crashed ship, and that will lead you to a signal booster that is strong enough to let you talk to him.... or her.. it's an alien so.. it could be both haha *shrugs*

    Be sure to delete terraforming tool from your multitool if you have it or wait for next patch before progressing new Artemis story. When you progress through Artemis story, you will be presented with mission to get terraform tool blueprint, but if you have one already on your multitool, that step will be skipped and you will be progressed to next step and that one will glitch out. Lots of people stuck at this part.

    Just curious......does everyone who pays on PC here have to change TEXTURESTREAMINGEX to off to get textures?...or are some having no problems......its just the 1.33 says it fixes some texture issues with AMD cards.

    Still have to turn off texture streaming on a 390X to get the textures right.
    funny enough, the game will run properly with the setting on, ONLY at first launch after system boot.
    If you exit the game and launch it again textures will turn to poop unless you re-boot your pc.
    So in the end might as well keep the setting off and forget about it.
    But you know there's something wrong.
    Also, at least on AMD, the mineral scan grid effect is screwed up > http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1114601090

    Do any of you have a screenshots with that texture problem? I am just curious how does it look. Seems that lots of AMD people have that, but not many post a screenshot.

    The AMD texture bug is supposed to be fixed in 1.33.

    Try these lines in TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.MXML:

    <Property name="TextureStreamingEx" value="Off" />
    <Property name="TexturePageSizeKb" value="4096" />

    Then delete the shader cache.

    Already using those settings.....any config that has TextureStreaming set to Auto results in loss of textures (or what looks like low textures) regardless of the TextureDetail or ShadowDetail settings.

    Setting TextureStreaming to Off lets the correct textures load but any setting above Normal for TextureDetail results in a game crash after the NMS galaxy splash screen.

    So now I use Normal setting with TextureStreaming to Off.......and getting a game hard freeze after about 5 minutes play.....I think I was running out of memory maybe.

    Changed from 1440p to 1080p and that seems to have stabalised things....at least for now.

    Stupid because on release I was playing on Max (at 1440p)with no problems (without having to mod the Settings file).
