Watch_Dogs Aiden Pearce "E3 2012" Facial Model Replacement Mod?

Hello all,

I'm one of those fellow gamers who think that the facial model of Aiden Pearce in Watch_Dogs 2012 demonstration was WAY better and especially, "realistic" in terms of picturing an overly paranoid anti-social tech addict who lives far from people in secluded hideouts. Ubisoft, most probably due to financial concerns, decided to change the looks of our "average guy" into some "supermodel", as they probably thought the game could sell better with a good looking main character (which is indeed a fallacy).

Since then I've been wondering if there is anyone with proper modding skills willing to bring the originally intended look of Aiden back out there. I'm not even sure if it's possible, but that would be super cool if someone could pull that off. So here's an idea and your ticket to becoming the latest superstar in the modding community.

Now I'm quite sure his old model may not be included in the game folders (otherwise it would be found already) and the modders might be required to start from scratch, modeling the face themselves depending on the source material but I want to believe there are some talented gentlemen who'd like to at least give it a try, if that's technically possible at all.

Now who's with me? Let us heard so that we can start something on that.

Nah Aiden was heavily mustached in the E3 Version and he had a older appearance
He's younger now but still he doesn't look that interesting sometimes the Render result of the Ingame Aiden is even better then that of the Aiden in the Engine Cutscenes and that imho is really interesting, because it's the exact same Aiden but his Appearance changes especially based on the Perspective

 

e3 Aiden looked like 29 and retail one looks like 39 = looks older

 

I'd say E3 Aidan looked older and more real.

 

I just think his eyes changed alot from
Cold but not unfriendly and smart in E3 2012 to
Tired and unspecial in Release Version.
But maybe there are some other aspects too which could have been changed.
Maybe the shape/form of his nose?

His face was more round and had a higher fat percentage. His cap was also larger and more round. I believe tessellation played a part in this. The bags under his eyes were less predominant and facial hair is thinner. In the retail version, his face is thinner and longer, bags under the eyes and facial hair is more thick and grey.

Is it just me or does the cloth inside of his jacket seem more detailed as well?

 

Man everything looked better in the E3 2012 Gameplay.
Look at the Lighting on the Cap on this pictures.

I find that he looked more asian though. I swear in my memory, aiden was asian and the story took place in Tokyo, I must have experienced a time slip or something lol.

 

it is possible, but you would have to make it from scratch.
I think the face model is same so you just would have to change the texture of his face

Esspecially now, when I saw all these character Replacement Mods out there.
I didn´t know that they even replace him in the Cutscenes . :banana:

Sometimes i also thought Digic made the stuff like they did the Trailer but im not sure to less Evidence of that and People who saw the Demo say it was Realtime
