failed afterburner overclock

    Hi tu_mayer,
    You can try into the OS safe mode and uninstall Afterburner then delete Program Files\Msi Afterburner folder and restart.
    After reinstall Afterburner.

    @msi Thanks for the reply, I didn't mention it in the OP but the problem persisted in safe mode as well.

    I did however solve this problem myself. I forgot that you can simply hold the ctr key while loading windows to prevent Afterburner from applying the OC settings at system start up.

    I knew about this feature and totally forgot. Basically I panicked. I will chalk it up to too much nyquil, thanks to this cold I am fighting atm.
