[REQUEST] Center Dot overlay for FPS gamers plz. Dear MSI AB creator: Can you please make an option for "center dot" overlay? It'll be really useful for FPS gamers who want to aim with no scope on weapons that don't have crosshairs. Some customizability would be great too. I.e. colour palette, size adjuster, position adjuster etc Thank you for your consideration Kind regards John
+1 If you want a crosshair, use a weapon with a crosshair. If the weapon doesn't have a crosshair, either deal with it, or use another weapon.
Or do like me and put a little sticker with a dot in the middle of the screen. I used to do this gaming on my wall with a projector, smiley face sticker worked well. But really anything that can be removed easily enough should suffice, not really rocket science here!
no. Is getting a better mouse cheating, or a better gpu/cpu? no. can improve performance. cheating is aimbot/walling etc.
It's cheating. You are trying to get an unfair advantage. If a weapon doesn't have a crosshair, it's to balance the weapon's otherwise overpowered characteristics - usually sniper rifle's one-shot-kill nature.
As I said, better performance, ie fps/triple monitor (fov 120) gives an advantage. A high dpi mouse enables you to aim at more pixels/more precise with aim. Modifiying your hardware or putting a dot on YOUR screen is not cheating. Downloading files/scripts is cheating. Just like those in CSS who download transparent walls that VAC does not ban for. edit- its impossible to prevent people from painting their screens. Good server admins is the best anti-cheat.
MSI AB isn't a tool to help you win at games. I can't believe you would ask the creator of it to add something so silly.
No, actually. AutoHotKey (AHK) is not banned by PunkBuster or VAC (though they do dislike people using those scripts) and it is possible to write a script which puts a crosshairs or dot in the center of the screen. I have one, it forces the crosshair's pixels to a certain color constantly. Not that elegant but it's what a lot of people use
