    The detection code won't make it perform any better.
    It's used to determine the compute capability of your video card (currently not important with for ATi cards).

    What you would really like to look forward to is the v7 client with core 16 (higher performance).

    I did ask that question and the developer said there shouldn't be any optimizations (Details) which would normally mean that performance would be the same. However, if you're interested, make a new thread with your FAHlogs at the Official F@H Forum and let's see what happens.

    cheers dude just thought I'd ask

    @solidsteel144 when not using -forcegpu_ati_r800 ppd is around 2500 with the switch it goes up to 2988PPD

    Officially, yes. Unofficially, it can also run on ATI/ADM GPUs but since it uses the same FahCore_11, there won't be any performance difference.

    GPU3 v6.41 works fine here slight increase in PPD other than than seems to be working OK after about 16 or so WU's
