nah, the i7 3960x destroys the 8150, i can only think of one benchmark that amd cpus do extremely well in.

Out of over hundreds of interested visitors, only TWO people (trolls) have a real issue with my review.

You just proved that you know absolutely nothing about FX performance if you think a 3960x beats it in every single test.. haha

He obviously confused you with Agent. Though seriously guys, just let him have his thread. Even if he's just a marketer, his seemingly legit benchmarks are alright. Bulldozer performs decently enough.

Nobody said that 3960x beats it in every test. i said that ive only recalled seeing one bench out there that beat the 3960x and it was a bench tailored for AMD cpus, and yet it did not stomp the 3960x like you said.

There are numerous examples for tests where an AMD FX processor will wipe the floor with any i7. Look to specific passmark tests / sandra tests / specviewperf11 tests in my review.

Also might I add, Piledriver performance looks great! Clock per clock (2.2 ghz trinity vs 2.4 ghz llano) it beats a llano part by around 40% in integer math, and 6% in FPU math.

Clock per clock for GPU / CPU the AMD cpu stomps the 3960x in the engineering ensight04 test.

In other words for that specific test, even a stock FX chip will crush an overclocked 3960x with an identical 6990 GPU.

I honestly cant make heads or tails of that. but I do not see an oc 3960x vs a stock 8150. but I do respect everybodys right to make a living though. wink wink carry on

This is part of the SpecviewPerf 11 benchmark suite, which is well known and used widely across numerous review websites.

LOL that this thread wasn't locked long ago. Even a mentally handicapped child can understand that Bulldozer is rubbish inferior to it's predecessor, give up, go away, and don't come back.

you guys hav to let him do his review, it's not like he's trolling other thread with his result, he open his own thread and post his result in it, he hav the right to do it it's democracy here, if you don't like what he say just tel him but there's no reason to close and lock this thread. And yes BD is a bad chip for high end with a much lower price, i think it would hav been different story.

If you think the FX 8150 <<< 1100t then you are wrong, and prices reflect this.

I have every right to write a review, but it doesn't seem to stop the trolls from lurking.

I thought the fx8150 at 4.5 was generally equal to a 6 core thuban at 4.0?

yep. clock for clock 1100t is a good bit faster than the 8150. 6 cores > 4 cores and 4 SMT threads
