3D Prophet 4000XT 32MB

and problem started.Every time i want to start any game some multicolore triangle appeare on the screen. i can see the game behind but with difficulty i try to set my agp to 2x but it dosent work. i have the lastest driver of my card and the lastest driver of my motherboard plz help me <IMG SRC="smileys/frown.gif">(((((((

 

Get Direct X 8.0.

try uninstalling and reinstalling the video card drivers

 

my problem is ok because i install the driver of my mother board but each game i try i can play like 10 minute max and it freeze or my computer turn of it not better <IMG SRC="smileys/sticktongue.gif">

 

chack your temps, in bios.

Chip tem less than 60 degrees celcius.<br>
Sys temp, shouldn't go to much higher than 40 or so.

 

my chip is at 34celcius and the system is at 32<br>
my cpu is new i bought a new one last week i think the prob that the video card i dunno

 

what is your agp speed? also what is your agp aperature?

I am having the same problem as DemonD with the same equipment: lots of little triangles on top of my screen.<br>

Except that I was having more serious problems with my computer (see crash...crash... under AMD MB. With the help of the various gurus here the problem was identified and solved. <br>

But my card was working OK at the beginning. I suspect that somehow the driver(S) were damaged. I will re-install everything and report later

 

As I suspected, evrything is back to normal after re-installing the driver, which I got from the cie web site. I din't even bother to de-install the old driver. I was warned that the existing drivers were more recent (god knows where they came from). I ignored this warning and the "new" drivers were installed. <br>

It could be the more then 256mb problem, take out some ram until you only have 256mb in your system and see if everything then works.
