hi, i was looking forward to build a new pc, i now have Phenom II X4 955, with 4GB Ram, and no video card.

i am buying a Phenom II X6 1075T, 2x4GB RAM, Gigabyte HD 7750, ASUS M4N75TD. is this system ok for me to play games on 720p for some 3 years on max settings. I have a 19" monitor with 1366x768 resolution.

I didnt get any better mobo for my budget with 2 pcie slots. i am looking forward to buy another HD7750 in future to run in crossfire.

my budget is $130 for graphics card. i have 550W SMPS, wat graphics card should i buy?

Your 955 is going to perform better compared to the X6 1055T in Games...
Just spend your money on the Best graphics card you can afford...>HD 7850/70...:)

Totally agree with airbud7.Your CPU is enough at least for gaming. So save the extra money for a HD 7850/70.

Agree with the other 2 posts, spend your money on grapic cards if your a gamer unless you have an awful cpu. Most cpu's are a waste of money.

    +1

Use the extra money to just double up on your ram and use the money you would have wasted on a x6 and put it towards an even better video card.

If you looking into Nvidia I would look into the 500 series. I wouldn't go below a 560Ti if you can afford it. The cheapest 500 series card would be the 550Ti. The 600 series Nvidia cards are out of your price range.

GDDR5 is 2x as fast as GDDR3 memory and having 2GB is a huge bonus for a graphics card. It is faster than a 7750. To me it is worth it considering prices in India. If you had a tad more cash you could have gone with a GTX 560 , but a 550ti should 2GB should be good enough for 720p based games.

Close the spaces.....dont know why guru doesn't like HH so much, because it will block out the links every time I try to post one.

This is comparing the 560ti OC and the 7850 OC, but you can get the general idea of performance differences. They trade blows, but the 7850 seemed to pull ahead in more areas than the 560ti does, and the 7850 runs cooler and uses less power.

If you could get a 7870 that would be the best bet, but of course depending on what you can afford.

    Hope this helps!

No, a GTX 550Ti with 2GB is a waste of money. Here (US) your can by a faster GTX 460 for less. If you can find a GTX 460 for less than the 550Ti 2GB get it, if not, just get the GTX 550Ti 1GB. Only the top end cards can actually take advantage of 2GB GDDR5.

Even better, so you agree with these cards if cheaper than the GTX 550Ti 2GB.

Edit: After some research I think the HD 6850 is Best BangforBudget card:) 6-14-2012...HighEnd=GTX 680/90

i want to play games like gta v, nfs, all open world games, racing, and sometimes war stimuli games....btw, gtx460 is $180 in india, my dad wouldn't allow me to buy tat. is there any lesser option??.

I am looking forward to play games in 720p with medium settings. After 3 or 4 months i can spend another $120 to buy another card to run in crossfire or sli.
