I remember there being some older news about deus x and purehair. On work ztm so can't really spend time looking for it.

Dynamic is about 150 - 400 MB. Dedicated is at 3850MB around. Game freezes occasionally when it has to swap from memory. Normally when you have games optimized for dynamic,,you have like 2GB there (some duplicate data I quess).

Haha, Tahiti still doing fine. How much is that 7950 overclocked?

My performance is shocking and I was wondering if there is SLI support for this game.

4K - Ultra settings, MSAA 4x, Contact Hardening Shadows ON

    Min: 21
    Avg: 28.4
    Max: 29.5

Strange thing is that if I turn MSAA - OFF, Contact Hardening Shadows - OFF and all other settings remain same, I get EXACTLY the same result: Min:21, Avg:28.4, Max 29.5.

Can someone please shed some light on this issue. BTW 1080's are oc'd: +45gpu, +200mem. And according to guru3d's article on performance, a single 1080 at these settings gets average of 25fps. WTF?

4k is too much it seems, and are you sure that SLI is working with the game?

Nvoodoo queries on our 'GOD LIKE' Red forum??? Sacrilege I tell you, SACRILEGE !!! :gape: :3eyes:

In all seriousness though, your 1080 should be performing a lot better than that bro

Hope you nail the issue as right now comparing your performance in DE-MD with mine (R9 390), it's impossible to justify the purchase of said Nvoodoo 1080 (even if you are running at 4k)...

    Peace

Bro game now is an Unoptimised Turd :bang:
Dont worry, wait for Patches and DX12 -> then it will be better for sure. :)

As much as it will go ;)

The core isn't impressive actually, but it seems on tahiti, every 1Mhz on the core is a tangible performance gain. Just super good clock scaling I guess.
I am also running with modified vram timings though to try and snag a few extra frames.
1050/1499 (its faster at this strap rather than 1500).

Wait. Have you done any measurements at that strap? Should I change it too? :nerd:

Im surprised its not overclocked higher. Im at 1165/1500 before i start seeing some strange artfacting, even at 1.3v.

Also, is it worth using a modified vram timings? Just like PrMinisterGR, im wondering should i try experimenting myself.

I wish it was clocked higher! Null result pushing vcore past 1.2v. 1050 is just the limit I'm afraid. I arrived at this value from using occt(?) and looking for errors. 1051 will give errors.

As far as modifying timing tables in the bios being worth it? Depends how geeky you are imo. The experience in itself was very satisfying to me.
To be fair, its a small and sometimes intangible increase but there are a few titles that didn't respond so nicely. I think F4 was 2-3fps slower. But Doom? like +5 in the best case scenario. I'd wager that its worth 2-3fps on average.
The real benefit is in the compute performance. Well over 10% in some cases.

Make Auto in Game launcher, then adjust :)
Or use RaptR to Optimise Settings for You, it work very well for all games:
    GoG, Stem, Origin, Uplay etc.

Some people have no respect for others who are on limited bandwidth and they post stupid gif memes just to prove their stupidity and lack of respect even further.

The DX12 update is really crappy at the moment. They even say that there is a bug that regresses performance compared to DX11.
