I have a divx compatible dvd player and i'm having problems playing back my avi divx widescreen movies. My hdtv is a widescreen tv, my question is why does my widescreen movies play back with black borders on top and bottom on the tv screen when I watch movies with my dvd player?. I have tried changing the hdtv screen settings and it does not help, the setting that fills the whole screen is zoom but it cuts some of the picture off the screen. Hope you all can help me because it would really be great if I can watch my movies in full widescreen .
