I just want to thank everyone @ the MPC-HC team who made an awesome piece of software! Finaly, my HTPC works as I had envisioned.

 

Hi im using MPC 1.5.3.3463 x64 latest build, the problem is with avi files, when i seek it takes sometime to show the frames any idea why, tried the Fast seek(on Key Frame) but it's good on MKV or Mp4 files......

Well, I have good reason, I hope.

After a long absence (I've not coded and have been mainly Linux for a few years now) I've decided to install Visual Studio 2013 Community Edition and will try (if I can remember how - lol) to program MPC-HC and rejoin the dev team.

Wish me luck.

one idea to implement in mpc-hc is this options entrey in old ffdshow
this options resize/upscaling movie to determined resolution very good results


idea is option pré-determined resolutions option user select 720/1080p/2160p or custon resolution user select (and all movies played in mpc-hc upscaling to selected resolution chances)

screen ffdshow for inspiration implementation this direct in mpc-hc
