    ^^ I'm still waiting...for the 7D MK2. Then when its anounced, depending on its price, I'll either get that or a 7D...or a 5D MK3!

    Nikon VR II :D.

Need a camera and zoom lens with super super fast AF.

Might even consider switching to the dark side :infinity:

lol that's right forgot you shoot Nikon :p

and feel free to come to the dark side hahaha

in saying that i am pretty jealous of nikon/sony sensor's low ISO DR, i've seen this guy expose a shot for the sky then pushed shadows like 3 stops, was pretty amazing, don't even need GND filters anymore lol

The 18-55 VR is a great lens, very under estimated.

Here's a few from the weekend. They are straight from the camera (unedited) just converted to JPG, so to give the models a quick look at them.

All shot with a Nikon D800 and Nikkor 24-120F4 VR

I really do miss the Critique and Discussions on photos in this thread. nowadays most pictures are just ignored.

Maybe we could discuss the lighting techniques on the model photos. I see Anshul used a large octobox for his portraits (nice shots by the way) and I'm not so sure about PCthugs lighting, I know there is a dedicated light on the background and and small softbox or beauty dish as the main light, but she looks to evenly lit for just one light or did the white floor act as bounce fill? Again nice shots.
