Hi, I write this post due to i have a problem when I run any game in my laptop(N55SF). The problem its suddenly game stops and appears a blue scream saying "nvlddmkm.sys" failed. Certainly the problem is relationed with "video tdr failure nvlddmkm.sys" I have tried install Asus drivers with Win7, original nVidia drivers, etc.. and always the same problem appears. I would appreciate your help a lot.:/ ThanksĀ”
OP, is that laptop still under warranty? If it is then do an RMA, but if it's not and if removing previous drivers eith DDU doesn't help a bit try this: 1). dissasemble laptop and clean ventilation system from dust 2). reapply new tim on GPU & CPU & SouthBridge chips 3). flash latest BIOS for that model of laptop ...and if all above doesn't help then reflowing or reballing of GPU is probably only solution. edit Link for propper GPU reflow procedure: http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4655623&postcount=13
Thanks, I think that it could be the problem because the laptop heats up very fast and a bit hight.. I ll send it to the ASUS Service. Thanks
