hmm.. i got the same problem, when i play cs and there are big open areas the fps drop from 40 to 10... it started to act like that when i upgraded from 2 32MB rams, to one 128.. then the memorybandwidth droped from 500MB/s to 75MB/s and when i tried the 2 32MB again it still was 75MB/s! i have tried looking for a upgrade for my bios, think that would help but i can't find any.... my specs are: AMD k6-2 400MHZ 256MB ram voodoo4 4500 pci shuttle via apollo mvp3 award bios vrs.4.51(the same as you) hmmm... if you find out anything that helps, contact me!!!!
hmm, have now tried flashing my bios but still 75MB/s... think im going to run over my comp with the tractor..
