i am running WoW patch 3.3.5a and before the Windows 10 anniversary update i was able to minamise the game and run 2 copy's of it mosey to trade with my banking toon.. now i cant even minamise the game if i alt tab the game will stay on screen... if i run another copy of the game the other copy will not load all the way...
with windows 10 you have to press alt+tab then click anywhere else on the screen apart from the game and it should minimize. Its a pathetic issue that should of been fixed ages ago or made easier to solve. If this fails bring up task manager and you should be able to alt+tab between them, I think its because Windows 10 needs there to be another window open for it to switch between programs if there isn't it just reopens the one you have running. As for running two instance at the same time I have no idea. You could try running two instances in window mode and see if that works.
yeah none of that works i have 3 computers running it all are doing the same thing.... and only after they got the NEW windows 10.... this is making it impossible to play and look on the web or run other stuff like skype i HATE Windows 10 i had no trouble with 7.... i wake up and all of my computers even my 10tb storage server was installing it with out me asking! Messed up my whole network! and i sware to GOD it Bricked my 2 8800GTX in SLI in my storage server!
Windows 10 sometimes can turn tablet mode on automatically (could be a bug). Go to System settings -> Tablet Mode and make sure it is disabled (off) or Go to the Action Center (notifications) on the lower right and make sure tablet mode is not highlighted.

Must be an issue with your OS then, it works fine for me and i'm using the Anniversary Update as well. I can Tab out just fine with Windows Key + D, and Alt Tab when i have another window open when i run a Game.
well it is doing it on all 3 of my computers sons and my wife's PC... sucks when i have to Tab out to do some thing on the net.... or when i am Live Streaming...
Maybe something to do with your sli video drivers? Just a stab in the dark. It works perfectly fine on both of my computers that play WoW with Windows 10 fully updated.
not running in SLI this is on Patch 3.3.5a i can load up Legion and give it a shot but i gave up on WoW after cat
