I knew they was going to release one. I kept checking yesterday and today.

Notable change I just saw...not even sure why I installed these...but anyhow.

GCN 1.0 (my HD 7770/ R7 250X) now have Wattman instead of overdrive.

Back on this GPU as my RX 480 died on me yesterday, starting the RMA.

It does not have memory clock control. Also any working overclock I had with this GPU now causes the screen to shudder. Not tried a 3rd party overclock tool yet. But at least for my card it seems to be missing things in Wattman.

Hmm the AMD HDMI audio component disappeared for some reason, no matter as I don't use it.

Driver branch is up from 16.60 to 17.10 too.

There's some new OpenGL definitions too it seems.

EDIT: Win10 build 15063.13 and DXDiag reports WDDM as 2.1, still not 2.2 certified I suppose but perhaps a 17.4.x driver could add that once RS2/Creators is fully released. :)
(It's not that critical far as I'm aware, would be nice to see though.)

This is a major revision guys. From 16.60 to 17.10. I wonder if the inf files have any Vega traces.

EDIT: I bet they do. The driver DLL have increased in size quite a lot compared to all the releases from the last six months.

I'm not 100% sure yet, but I did the following:

I opened Wattman and left it open.

Opened Edge with a 1080p YouTube video and started playback.

While it was playing I run the GPU-Z 3D test.

I closed the video, then closed the 3D test, then closed the browser, and I'm back at 300/150 :D

I can't actually install these... Says it can't ID my hardware. I have my Fury modded to Fury X so I'm guessing that's why. Sucks tho...

Flip the BIOS, install then flip it back?

EDIT: My Fury is fully unlocked to 4906 cores and it installed fine here

Overdrive is completely off with these. Trying to force clocks through RadeonPro gives me a BSOD (a proper one, not a total system freakout). I can set clocks with Wattman though.

Seems to be, just fired up ESO (patched itself, apparently) and grass does not seem to be flickering in the character select screen.

F**that bug,if you looking for it you'll find it..Update the driver and enjoy in games. :)

    What we got here?
Gtx 1070OC vs RX 480 CFX in Rise od Tomb Raider.
    Looks like,again,Radeon+Dx12=LOVE vs Ryzen+Gtx=Hate.

RX 480 CFX have high numbers.

Again, some reviewers are trash and they like to be bribed.

Forza Horizon still broken with this driver release :(

Ridiculous load times & artifacts on festival home screen & menus (same as previous driver)...

Branding app fails to install also, no matter what I do (does not seem to affect anything though).

My OS is now 15063 RS2 (latest update -13), maybe that has something to do with it !

Bit late though if it is, to be having driver issues this close to RS2 release given that 15063 'Creators Update' is focused on rendering & gaming !!!

Saying that, with AMD n MS, anything is possible & everything is probable :p

    Peace peeps...

Btw, 17.3.1 works great so I can go back to that, but it feels wrong. The OS is moving forward & so too should AMD drivers, not freaking backwards

It took a while, but for those wondering. The ESO grass flickering issue has finally been fixed!

"Radeon WattMan may fail to apply settings on some Radeon R9 390 series graphics products."

Finally, it's acknowledged. It's one of the many bugs that was reported back in December.
