    Hi guys,

Just bought the new Agon 35 ultra-wide monitor och hooked i up with my GTX 1080 using the DP-cable.

Now to the problem: Every now and then a single colored horizontal line appear across the screen during boot and then quickly disappears, after a while the computers seems to boot up again and i wind up in windows, this takes like 1-2 minutes. I have installed all the necessary drivers. I have also tried to disconnect all the cables and put them back again. Now this only happens every fifth boot but it's really annoying. What do you think is the problem?

    Any help is much appreciated.

It sounds like an issue with the card and Displayport. If it were just the line itself it could possibly be the monitor, but considering Windows reboots it suggests the card. Maybe there is a firmware update for your card? Unfortunately graphics firmware updates aren't always common, it may be an issue that goes unresolved.

Is it by any chance where Windows spinning wheel is supposed to be during boot?
