Hi guys, I'd bet my bottom dollar that not many, if any at all, has heard of this rare can. It's a Rotel RH 930 Back Electret Condenser headphone (Google it, but you can't find much mention of it). I can prolly get it for about 108USD, and it can be used on just about any decent headamp, I find it pretty good looking, and kind of curious about its tech and sound. Note the odd looking thingy that's part of the headphone jack? I heard it's for the gain level. Should I buy it?
If you've got the coin, I have heard of ROTEL, they make awesome gear... I just recently bought this KORG ds-dac-100m which comes with Audiogate 3 awesome software as well: Yes I will do a review once I get it and have used it http://www.korg.com/us/products/audio/ds_dac_100m/
My Dad used to have a ROTEL Amplifier, I remember the sound quality being great EDIT - In fact I think it was this exact model
Rotel hi-fi is pretty well known on Europe - I saw lots of it when I lived there back in the early 90's. I never knew they did headphones though. Rotel had a pretty good reputation in the hi-fi world and I'd snatch that up for $108 if I were you.
Rotel makers great gear I've got a Rotel amp and the sound really is god-tier Headphone looks amazing, 108 isn't that much
Just a brief update, it looks like I'll win the bid.....for 108USD. I'll be back when I get it, and yes, there WILL be pics of it!
Drats, someone has offered 20% more on the can, I've a few hours to decide if I wanna go higher. I don't mind paying 108USD for it, considering the last one sold for 40 pounds, but any higher and it becomes a less rewarding exercise for me:bang:......will ponder the vicissitudes of life.
