I've never been as genuinely freaked out as I was when watching The Conjuring. I'm not sure what it was about it, but it just completely got to me. Horror's don't usually bother me.
+1 from me too. Some don't like it (it's not for everyone) but I thought it was the most well done ghost/haunting story since Amityville. It isn't especially fast paced but it really feels authentic. Not rainy but dark, single house in middle of nowhere type thing...
Baaa Baaa Doooook Doooook Doooooooooooooooooooook Watched that last night I wanted to kill that irritating little kid so many times, but a pretty freaky film
Ju On: The Grudge Japanese and the original first movie version of The Grudge. I found it to be creepier than the remake. Not sure about scary but it does make you go "Eeeegh get away that's creepy!" The ending was confusing though.
I kind of found the movie boring apart the BAA BAA DOOK DOOOOOK DOOOOOOOOK that was proper scary then it went crap. And the kid was pretty much basic kid that is scared / mentally ill.
Watched As Above, So Below the other day, and I gotta' say, it was pretty decent for a point of view shot film. Enjoyed it much more than 'The Taking of Deborah Logan' anyway.
cheers for the suggestions guys, I will be watching The Mist, The Conjuring and Salem's lot with my girl tomorrow night. Not a massive horror buff but looking forward to watching these
I liked The collector (http:// www. imdb .com/title/tt0844479/). I watched it at a birthday party at night and lots of friends were scared to go outside.
