    I have a question.
I really like the basic player.
    It suits all my needs.
    Three panes, tabbed play list.
Is it possible to change the color of the player itself?
The tabs, the border. That sort of thing.

I put together a nice compact player.
    Tabbed playlists, Left/Right VU meters.
I've not seen how to change the color of the various components of the player itself.
Could some one point me in the right direction.

Should have paid more attention to official documentation, lol. Solved this finally.

Stuff ordered by year then remixer and then by artist (or artist if no remixer). Year->Remixer/Artist->Album->tracks.

But I will not choose a ugly interface. I like winamp style and JetAudio style and AIMP style. Thank you

No problem, you prefer skins to function. I don't look at my media player when I'm browsing or fullscreen gaming. :)

DAW you may want to do a little research on foobar before making a judgement like this. Just as AIMP can be modified to look many thousands of different ways so too can foobar. It typically comes down to how each player handles your media and how difficult it is to customize. In fact, you can go back in this thread alone to see different looks for foobar if that is the most important thing to you.

Ive used it LNCpapa, Its not a nice slick interface like winamp was, and how AIMP or Jet Audio is. For heavens sake the exit button is a windows button,, not the x on the player since there is none.

so why not just use winamp?
I use it all the time and its just fine, doesnt like it when I change outputs from Digital to analogue but apart from that its just Dandy still

I just use MediaMonkey, and it plays 24 bit and has accurip checking for ripping so with a nice skin your all set. But thats me ........ I use EAC to rip mostly though.

Does amaze me how all the steamers out there all sound just a little different.
Its a neat trick for us PC users to have access to all these players.
Buy a product from: Sony, Marantz etc and you are stuck with what they give you out side of EQ, but I am a direct fan, I do not mess about with the music.
I find foobar to be delicate and detailed with a bit of a crisp sharp edge and kinda perfect for cans, but not monitors.
As PC users we are quite lucky to have such a high choice of players unlike the dedicated hardware buyers.

TOS 8 Violation (If this was HA)

FB2K is bitperfect output over DirectSound out and WASAPI. It doesn't color the audio in any way unless you use a DSP that does so.
