so how long can we expect this to show up in games?

    looks interesting.

this could work for water effects. and having stuff(leafs, sticks, ect) move when moving through it or effecting it.

but it could be a killer on gpu and cpu.

If its a killer on gpu/cpu then its not done right.. Like old Physx2 smoke/cloth, fluids..

From what I saw it should be "effective", so no worries.

    Runs good, expect water

    but its documented in readme..
    * Some performance problems when fluid covers a large area of the screen

And some wood blocks lag a bit, rest is fast and with low gpu usage, so I guess it won't be demanding in games at all, which is very good.

Yeah, water is a real fps killer, looks impressive though.

here's a new stripped down demo package using 0.8.0 binaries:

    http://www.mediafire.com/download/r3j94yq771wun9q/FLEX-0.8.0.7z

this time I include documentation and linux binary, so its a tad bigger (8mb compressed).

    from release notes:

off topic, has anyone tried the HairWorks 1.0 Viewer yet ?

    download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/5ngps2a27923z5l/HairWorks_1_0_Viewer.7z

many attributes to play with. notice the hair->volume->density attribute to increase/decrease number of hairs, also check display->show hud and stats...
use CTRL+mouse buttons to control lights and ALT+mouse buttons to control camera.

to play with the monster in pic, open "Manjaladon" project. there are many others but this one includes a character imported from 3dsmax / maya.

latest WHQL driver's release notes states an added SLI profile for the viewer.

I would imagine AMD cards can run this one (?) as its DX11 / tessellation, no CUDA involved.
