I want something easy, so I installed the standard CPU folding application. However, that leaves 3 cores not used. I would install the 4-core folding application, but that seems like too much work. Arg!

It's not that tricky at all, just make sure you install the MPICH version.

You have to put in the same info as the uniprocessor client, so it's as straightforward as that really. The only real difference is you have to make a shortcut to the client and put -smp at the end of the target address to get it to use all your processor's cores, eg.:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Folding@Home Windows SMP Client V1.01\Folding@home-Win32-x86.exe" -smp

Got it in one, the Deino one is a bit of tricky one. Whereas the MPICH is a lot, lot more simpler.

Make sure yuo run install.bat and have a password on your account.

I downloaded MPICH and tried to run and it failed. Too complicated! When is the beta stage scheduled to end? I'll run it then.

It really isnt complex, the BETA testing will end when its considered 'stable' for each version.
