playing witcher 3 for the 1st time without playing 1 and 2. so far so good.

 

Its interesting to see how he deals with the different choices in the game, from my perspective after finishing it one way myself. Honestly, there's a million things I could be spending time doing, but it's also fun to read the comments after each vid, and people freak out that he missed stuff or did something too soon. Heh, casuals.

He's also a pretty good mod guy and actually designed the Immersive HUD which I still use, and will when I start my NG+ and start getting rdy for the 1st expansion in a few weeks.

I am playing this on the PS4 and the FPS suck!

I knew they were bad, because my eyes are good, i notice anything drop below 30fps but i had no way of checking FPS on PS4, happy i seen this.

Yeah, playing this on console really should be a last resort, it doesn't do the game justice. I grabbed the first DLC today, I'm definitely ready for 10 hours of new content.

 

Happened to me, got the game day one with 59 pounds from PSN. Played until i reached Skellige and i could not take it anymore, grabbed the save files from a friend and continued on PC..50-60fps butter smooth.
I wish PSN had refunding, now i'm stuck with two versions of the game...and one of them overpriced as hell. Considering i spent 35 Euros for my PC version.

PSN should allow a refund it's BS that we pay and can't play at good FPS.
They should make a law that states the FPS must be posted on game page!

How did you get the save files off your PS4?

I'm getting this on steam sale sense i payed once already.

My 960 will out do the PS4.

 

I think he meant save files from PC version of his friend.

 

I got sick of the super long sync time so I deleted all the quick saves from in-game and just left my two manual saves and now it's nearly instant.

Just finished my third playthrough, absolutely amazing. Cd projekt is definitely at the top of the A list of developers. Can't wait to see what Cyberpunk 2077 is all about.

What did you do to change your experience each time? Or was it the same? Just asking because I'm about to play it again, but now with all the DLCs and expansion...

 

Got the save files from a friend who played on PC, we had similar walk through so the difference in story was really slim.

Now i'm on my second play, New Game +. Using couple of mods:

1. Immersive camera
2. Igni immersive camera
3. Ursine armour fur mod
4. swamp zone lightning
5. Real graphical suite + KNG cut scene lightning mode

Plus i dropped my resolution to 1080p, native for my monitor and playing max out, everything, including hairworks, hbao+ and foliage visibility on Ultra. Running great at 45-60fps.

Just finished it. What a game! Didnt enjoy myself like this in a long time. I cant wait for the expansion.

 

I initially regretted playing the first Witcher game, but I'm really enjoying all the references to it that I come across that I otherwise would not have known about like the letter from Alvin. Also cool to see how faithful they've stayed to the look of Kaer Morhen for example.

The amount of detail in this game is just amazing.

 

agree, sad thought that this is the end of Gerarlt but at the same time i don't want to see this beautiful trilogy go to sh!t cause of milking the books to much or inventing some sort of new story. Also i really hope they end the Witcher universe also, as i really can't see a better hero then Geralt. Not even Ciri.

 

Would also suggest a few more mods that provide for a deeper level of immersion/ease of use:

No Auto Camera Centering

Immersive HUD

Default Collapsed Crafting/Alchemy Tabs

Walk by Default

No Dirty Lens Effect

 

Well I'm not going to post any spoilers but yes, there were many differences throughout the game on each playthrough.
