Well i was wondering about the possibility that one can have a powerful notebook with around $1,500 and incapsulated in a such small case as a 14" ! this winner is called Asus A8Js and have the following:

    Core 2 Duo 2.0Ghz
    2x1Gb 5300 DDRAM
    512Mb GeForce 7700

how about all that in under $1,600 ? do you know of other competition for this bargain ? :smoke:

well.. you're right, although the A8Js has a 7700 (which is analogous with x1800) with 512 Mb dedicated DDR ! but i'm not sure if this is worth almost $300 thou .. anyway is the same A8J series from Asus :approval:

i really wonder if there's any other make or model who is up to A8J series ! :smoke:

Wrong My Friend.............The ATI X1700 is just a X1600 with advanced thermal features and it has the same structure as the X1600

If you want source just look here
