Hi there! I am building a new system using a Nzxt Vulcan case, MSI z87m gaming motherboard and a Asus r9 290x directcuii and I am not sure which slot i should use to install the GPU. Upper PCIE means that the heatpipe of the card will touch my Sata connector on the board. Bottom PCIE means that the GPU will be right nest to my PSU (less than 1cm away). The PsU does not seem to be heating at all... But I dont know... What do you guys think I should so? Thanks!
I used right angle SATA plugs on a PC here plugged into the motherboard, not same board as yours but same problem, worked well.
