    Hi guys;

    Are there news about this new API ?
    Should we change our graphic cards ? or a simple software/bios update will suffice ?...

    It's not March 20 yet.... That's when MS will be giving details.

    That's only a rumor. Nothing has been confirmed outside of the announcement about DirectX 12 on March 20.

    It's always possible that DX12 will be such a minor change that hardware changes won't be necessary. However, based on past experience, it's too early to rule out the need for new hardware.

    If that is true that is good for us PC gamers who have current DX11 hardware as the XB1 uses DX11 hardware. Unless they put something in the box they didn't mention... unlikely as they would of told people about it who wanted to buy it.

    If they do it could just be a software patch to include a few new features and not be 100% fully compatible.

    It would be a good selling point for the XB1 though which is trailing behind PS4 quite a bit. The PS4 out sold the XB1 in January by 31% which is HUGE!
