Ok guru folders! Lets see your PPD! Posting format: CPU make/model speed - 2cores - PPD | GPU make/model - sli/crossfire - 600/1500/900 - PPD Where it says 2 cores put the number of cpu cores you got folding. So heres mine! AMD Athlon 64 X2 @ 3.25Ghz - 0 Cores - 0000 PPD | Nvidia 9800GT - SLI - 600/1500/900 - 9015 PPD
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.6Ghz - 2 Cores - 1060 PPD | XFX 9800 GX2 BE - 700/1674/2100 - 5250 PPD AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ @ 2.0Ghz - 1 Core - 265 PPD | --- Total = 6575
QX9650 @ 4.0ghz - 4 cores - 2498 PPD 8800GTX @ 651/1566/1950 - 4996 PPD 8800GTX @ 651/1566/1950 - 4996 PPD 8800GTX @ 651/1566/1950 - 4937 PPD Total = 17427 PPD But now one of my cards has gone to silicon heaven, so now 'only' 12431 PPD Hey bozotheclown, you should try running the SMP as well, it's nice when one of those WU's finishes, gives a ~2000 point boost to your credits.
I'm interested but I've just tried to get the SMP client running and it only funtions when it get's a systrem account+password and even when I create an account+password (I usualy don't do passwords for my Windows account) It still doesn't work because so it states, it can't connect to it? FAH6.22beta2-win32-SMP-mpich.exe is the one I tried. EDIT: I've got it up and running now but tjeez does is look slow. If I just have a it of patience, I can see the % going higher with the GPU clients. With the CPU SMP client however, it's still 0% of 2500000 steps. Pffffff BTW... I chose low as cpu priority instead of idle and let it use 100%
Intel Quad Q9450 3.2ghz - 4 cores - ~1650-2625 PPD | Nvidia 9800 GX2 - 675/1687/1050 - ~8700-10600 PPD AMD X2 2.2ghz - 2 cores ~300-550 PPD | AMD HD 3850 - Stock frequencies - ~1200-2000 AMD Athlon64 2.4ghz - 1 core ~200-300 PPD Intel T9300 2.5ghz - 2 cores ~1000-1500 PPD They fluctuate within those value ranges, but mostly stay near the upper number.
I don't know, I stopped it because I have some serious work to do and need my cpu cycles. Anyway, 4k at 3Ghz means I can get higher than that I suppose BTW. the SMP folding client hasn't finished a job yet and I guess the final PPD is most accurate when a job has finished? BTW2: The QX9650 @ 4.0ghz - 4 cores mentioned above, does 2498 PPD so maybe my PPD isn't that weird?
