    Hey guys.
I am in the market for a new laptop to play on.
Was wondering what you think of this one i am currently looking at. It's a Cyberpower Fangbook Evo HX7-200 . I will upgrade to a blu-ray burner, and possibly change the main HDD to the 1tb seagate momentus XT.

One of the other reasons i chose Cyberpower was it's 2 year finance.

    Advice please.

Very nice and powerful Laptop. If you want to save some money you could consider the Xplorer X7-7650 model from Cyberpower. It's really a Clevo machine with Cyberpower's name on it. It can be customized to be almost equal to your initial choice for a lower price. The main difference is that it has the GTX 860M graphics with only 2gb video memory. The Fangbook is obviously considerably better there with the 6gb 870M.

Don't get the bluray burner, save the money to get the 880m instead, its like 25% faster.

Ditch the second hard drive even, and the copy of windows, that should make up the difference.

Really, the GPUs are expensive as well to replace/upgrade (that site will be getting a discount) and troublesome to do, you can add all those other options in later at your own cost.

    Thanks for the advice.

Also what would be better? The killer N1202 or the 5th gen. intel for wireless.

And is it worth getting the silver extra warrenty for 19 quid?

as far as the NIC's, dunno, I would personally use wired whenever possible, check some reviews online if you can since they're both the same cost

I would say the warranty is worth the small increase, just in case something goes wrong, no postage, and since it's credit you're doing it on it would be pennies a month.

Seems like very mixed reviews for both cards.
Sod it i think i'll go for the Killer card.
Can't wait, hopping to order it with the GTX 880m and without the Blu-ray, OS on Tuesday.
Plus should get the cooling pad and watch dogs free with it etc.

    Thanks Scatman.

Haha, I don't even bother with a cooling pad, I just prop mines up with a set of allan keys.

No prob, the 880m will be a massive boost to what you had, even the 555m to 7970m was a massive leap for me.

That thing will be a beast with the 880M.
